Default what size monitor do you play with

Hey all, I'm just curious because I play on my laptop. Am I missing out not playing on a bigger monitor?

I have a 28in I was thinking about playing on but I've been to lazy to drag it out and hook it up. Also, it will look crazy big on my little deak at home.

I play both on my 17" laptop and my 32" home machine. I prefer the home machine hands down. You can really get into the game when your entire vision is taken up by the action. Next up is to connect my home machine to the 42" in the living room.

Hehe. You just made me cry. Problem is, the way my rigs and the living room is setup. I can see the monitor, the TV and the GF. So I can multitask. A bigger screen, would not be functional for my relastionship hehe.

SO now you have a 27" CTR, or do you mean you upgraded to 27"LCD from 17"CTR?

My friend has a 20" CTR and its effing huge! It takes up a quarter of the room (cause its 30" deep) and weighs more than 2 ppls worth! O_o

27" CTR would break any surface you put it on

I use 19" LCD 4:3.

I also have a 40" HDMI TV in the living room but the room isn't really big enough, so after 40 mins of sitting infront of it your eyes go square O_o

So I am missing out my using my laptop screen I guess.

Well we are about to move and I've considered buying a 55" LED for my living room after I move but I never considered using it as my gamin monitor. You guys have some good ideas thanks for the tip.

Just make sure you can connect your lappy to your tv, mine has an HDMI port on it so I can just plug it in to my TV, But see my Lappy is a Desktop replacement and was built with a screen for media playing. so I can do both with a decent pic, LOTR is playing on High resolution, But my lappy has a newer NIVYDA graphics card, GT230m.
