Angry Worst game EVER

what a waste of money for the game and 3 acps. When you want to play theres hardly ever anyone to play with and teams are always full or servers are always at full capacity or the server crashes while in game biggest waste of money EVER

Well I would not say that, I would give it an average of about 6.0 out of 10 as it is fun to play, aside from the number of problems what can you expect of a game that is only a cushion budget for SGW and that was created in six months? At least their is assured free support, with multiple patches and maps that are promised. Remember this is only to wet our appetite until SGW comes out so for now we are showing our colors, that we are the true ######## Stargate fans as I sure as heck want to see this game come out, so I will support it till the end.

just give it time, and keep playing. when they release some more recognizable maps there will be more players. right now, they need our support, and our faith. just don't ragequit, because then you will have wasted your money.

Maybe you should have tried the game before spending money on ACPs?

Maybe that's a timezone issue. I'm UK timezone and rarely have a problem finding people to play with. Occasionally my favourite map is a bit quiet, but there are always the other ones plus new ones in the pipeline.

That's why there are other servers. If one is full, try another one, or sit in a quiet server until more people come along, which they always do in my experience.

Never noticed this myself. Sometimes I've been kicked from a server for no reason, but I have always assumed that was a problem on my end, and not on server end. Also haven't noticed anyone mention this elsewhere on the forums.

I don't know about you, but I've spent more money on worse games I played less. Star Trek: Legacy and Mirror's Edge are a couple that come to mind.

I will conceed this game is FAR from perfect. And sometimes it frustrates me dearly (*shakes fist at turrets*), but apparently I've clocked up 33 hours of gametime, and I can quiet easily see it being a game I play for a LONG time to come. If they continue to support, upgrade and add to the game, then it's potential as a truely great game could be realised.

Incidentally, I realise now that this is probably a very obvious troll when the complaint is "There's not enough people to play with, but there's too many people on the servers..."

Oh wells.

Waste of money? You haven't complained about gameplay. I buy games for the gameplay. It's really fun, when you get past the few problems that servers have. Not enough people? Sit in an empty server for a few minutes. Same thing for full teams/servers. Only experienced one server crash, though, that's an uncommon problem.
[Edit] I have wasted money, it was worse. This was not a waste. EVE Online and a few months was a waste. Now, I don't want to debate, but I did not like that game, that decision will not be undone.

oh so true. Whenever I play against them, 90% of my deaths are by black. Once he kills me about 5 times i give up and go to a diff server

Like Prevch said Haters at first impression say the game sucks or they hate it. SGR is not trying to be a top tier game. The dissgruntled playres end up liking it 85-95% of the time. It's a very fun game and Its Stargate, How long Have Stargate Fans been waiting for a decent game to play. And now SGW has new Mngmt. We'll get an even better Stargate game.

I didn't play the beta, but from what I have heard, SGR is actually better than the SGW beta ever was.

Heck, even if SGW doesn't ever come to be, I would be thrilled if they just kept adding content to SGR

Try playing Lead and Gold, just released. Then re-evaluate your subject line.

If they took the combat "style" of SGR and made a SG living breathing metaverse around it - it'd be a killer game. There's a fairly big debate right now as to the effects of Social Games on "Real" Games when in reality they've become so divided by so called professional games designers they've lost sight of the important social aspect in gaming that really launched the MMO genre. SRG + Classic MMO world (not these neo modern zero depth clones of clones) + Stargate facade would be awesome ...

I've found in my exp most games that micro manage their suits don't last long,
lets hope this isn't the case with SGR
But if you been reading there a new map this comming weekend and its free,They said any new map will be free. I believe the devs are going try try to get new maps out every couple of months, Remember they just started working on SGR in Nov-Dec. Fireskys's investors wanted to get some kind of game out or CME and Firesky would of gone under. Comepaired to most Start up companies, CME and Firesky has had the worst time with the economy they had to deal with, and they've managed to tread in those troubled waters. I think that says alot for a company and the support the community has given them.

Good to Hear Bacon! It just takes patience, lol I'm even guilty at this from time to time, of being impatient and then They Announce SGR was comming. At least Firesky finally made a Move to get the Scientist and Ashraks ACP Because Steam wasn't releasing them. Yeah I know there 5 bucks but there Kewl even if they are just cosmetic. At least we have gotten feedback from the devs on Various topics and the listen to our input, thats unheard of in alot of games, Granted they have been scarce, but they've had the new map and patch to work on.

So correct me if I am reading this wrong, your main complaint about the game is no one is around to play with you? Other then that if you had someone to play you would like the game?

If SGW had fighting like SGR, that would be amazing! I would stop playing every other game in existence, and pour every ounce of gamer that is in me into SGW!

Also, that is the sweetest sig ever Khestral

I like the game, when I can play. It takes some getting used to and peoples play styles etc. So don't judge the game to early, play a little and learn how to play.

Right and wrong. It's a fine line, the subject line talks about the quality of the game. The post talks about their inability to play the game. We're obviously dealing with a very confused individual here.... *SCIENTIST!!!* Hurry! .... Need a dispenser here! Need a dispenser here! Need a dispenser here! Need a dispenser here!

dang ppl are addicted to pez dispensers again i reckon

NOW MAKE IT SPIN!

seriously tho, being an ashrak, cloaked and hiding as the noobs walk by and you stab em. that is one of the most fun character types i've played in my many years of gaming. i only play shooters/stabbers/blower uppers

the sniper should get some satchels in this game, toss one in the enemy and detonate, that'd be sweet
