*waves*

I'm a 20 year old Computer Science student, currently studying at the University of Bath (UK). Been watching Stargate since I was... whenever "Show and Tell" from Season 2 was aired in the UK (yes, I do remember the first episode I watched ) and.... yeah, I like pew pew and stuffs.

Ingame you may see me around as "lantix", usually an ashrak or soldier on the SGC and piramess maps.

And.... yeah.... RAH!

Whoa calm down people.

It wasn't a big deal. Wasn't trying to start some big thing. Just saying it makes sense to me. There is a big difference in how the 30+ crowd and the 30- crowd carry themselves. Just saying I wasn't surprised to see the average age be high teens low twenties.

i disagree with you completely about that. i have friends who are 30 and still live at home with there mums and others who are 20 and have had a few years of living rough. there is no surefire maturity test, including age.

however, to name just a few wising factors:
- held down a good job for a few years
- studied a few years of optional extra education
- managed have a 5+ year relationship and still avoid getting a girl knocked up before they turn 30
people who match any or all of this often seem wise beyond their years.

oh, also most people who have moved country on there own to settle down are wise people personal experience.

Haven't played to many games with the 30+ crowd have ya? Every MMO guild I have ever been in have a 25+ rule. Why? Cause people game, and act differently depending on age group. If you actually look at the top raid guilds in most MMO's they are 25+? Why? Cause they are less likely to drama queen it up or Ragequit™.

You disagree with what completely? Cause I think you should read my post again. I have never said age=maturity. Now Floyd did *think* I implied that, but alas it wasn't the case.

Wise also doesn't dictate common sense. Holding down a job=common sense.

Also what does having a kid before 30 have anything to do with anything lol? That one just baffles me.
