The login screen is an actual map!

Via console i have figured out how to run around at the login screen, Image and Vid below.

Steps
After startup and while at the Login Screen.
1. [Console] "closemenu"
2. [Console] "playersonly" (this will allow you to move around in third person mode [Thank Ben_Maxwell for this])
3. [Console] "changeclass"
4. close console and pick Soldier, classes other then Jaffa and Soldier will not spawn

While walking around your cannot fire your weapon (but you can change them), or look up and down. There are also several invisible walls (you must go around the left side of the DHD as there is a wall on the right).

Most of the commands that are disabled ingame are enabled here too. Try viewmode wireframe

ghost mode is awesome, i could do that for hours... and i just might. i'm hoping someone gets really good at it and makes a cool jaffa break-dancing video.

Also for anyone who wants to use the disabled and admin only console commands, you may open maps in your SGR directory (something like "C:\Program Files\...\stargate resistance\SGBGame\CookedPC\Maps"). This will create your own private game which allows you to do anything you want. Be sure to use the "ghost" console command to get out of the spawn doors (and then the "Walk" console command to get out of ghost mode). Personally what i found to be fun was to type in console (after getting out of spawn doors) "SetGravity .5" and then "SetSpeed 2" be sure to test your Grenade Launcher (or should i say Rocket Launcher), works best on Court and Whiteout.

I would really love it if a Dev could do this for me once on a public server so that i could play against other players.

No, the angle is the same, just moved the camera with bugitgo. The angle is frustratingly locked.

you can also do

>adminchangemap [map name] and get to the actual maps.

I've found that entering

>playersonly

gets rid of the pesky "need more system lords" message.

Great for exploring.

I particularly like the one that looks like Jaffa are being launched out of the stargate. Kinda makes me wish that were a triggerable event... just Jaffa launching and ragdolling out of the stargate. I'm sure it can be made canon somehow, I guarantee there are Goa'uld that would use such a tactic.

Not too effective against an Iris, though ^_^

So i got the camera unstuck..... however i cant seem to replicate it, what happened was i suicided and respawned in first person mode, i believe it was just a random bug but there might have been something i did that i didn't notice. Here are some SSs (didn't take video as i thought i could replicate it).
