Server just exploded?

Idk if its just me but I was getting booted simultaneously several times today, and then just now i got "cannot connect to login server" message. Some problem for anyone else? is it dlc day or something?

It messed up for me like that yesterday, just have to exit the game completly then login again.

Yesterday was weird though, everytime I got kicked to the login screen, when I put my password in, it kept saying it was wrong (and no it wasn't a case error cause I checked!)

So I had to restart.

i just saw a sticky in support section "servers coming down for extended maintenance"

wonder how long it will be, i was in that game with you kirk, lucky for you on the same side

the time stamp in the top left of the support forum's sticky post is 03-22-2010 until 03-27-201... Please don't be down for 5 days

I would die... DIE!! Will a FireSky staff please tell me i'm wrong? If its down for that long, i expect a lot more than DLC at the end...

i was thinkin the same thing when i saw it'll be stickied for a few days

surely one of the devs can tell us if we're talking down for hours or days

That's the default setting for vBulletin. Nothing to worry about.

Well I hope this means we're finally getting the new map and stuff. That would be awesome!

does anyone know if the new map will be a different game type, or will it be tdm or capture the point?

or will it just be added to all the servers and become a rotation? that'd be great to have it in a rotation

It is a new planet. It will have multiple gametypes. These gametypes may cycle, or they may be on independent servers. Really, I don't see why this wouldn't be the map update. It is near the 1st of April, and that would be a bad day to release a March map, and even then how'd we know it wasn't a joke? (That would not be a good joke!)
