I see. Thanks for the info.

I think maybe it's weird because the bullets appear "server side" but the opponent appears "client side." (if I'm using the terms right) The visual mismatch makes it difficult to know where to aim.

I'm saying if you're definitely hitting a Jaffa and the bullets appear skewed to the left but the Jaffa appears dead center it is confusing.

Thanks for chiming in Gabe!

I'm finding it more difficult to lock on heals as a Goa'uld is this the same reason?

What you are seeing is the tracer fire, which wasn't there before, the mechanics have not changed, the bullets still fire the same way. Since you are now perceiving the bullet trace route taken via the tracer effect. This shouldn't effect your game play at all (as nothing has really changed in the way bullets fire, just that you see them better).

One thing I would say is that it does look odd, especially when your turning round in a circle like that, as it makes it look wrong, this is due to the line of trace always being drawn in a straight line from the gun (when in real physics we would discern a slight curve in the line, as we have turned quickly , but in the mechanics used in the firing ingame we are drawing a straight line all the time).

Fumbles I am having the same issue, as previously stated, Goauld healing just got tougher with the new patch, which seems a tad unfair as SGC healing is and always will be better, as the sci can still kill while healing (unfair advantage).

I played the sniper dude on the new patch a few times. Excluding my inability to hit the broad side of a barn, I think one claymore is enough to even the odds of a sneak attack.

Oh a side note the Jaffa flash nade deal too a little getting use too. But I really love the reload. I especially like the counter that was put in. It really helps me to space out my nades so I always have one ready to toss in someone's face.

just played my first few rounds with the new patch, and the X delay is super annoying. it should be instant-off, the millisecond the weapon is out of the wall, but it seems like it takes about a quarter second or so. i encountered several situations where it was impossible to take out a turret without getting hit. also the X seemed to sometimes turn on for no reason. i think it happened right when i would start to sprint, but i only saw it once or twice in three matches. and no, i wasn't playclawing(better than fraps, i think) at the time.

Why can't you play SGR? I see people doing fine after the new patch. I see people racking up huge amounts of kills no problem.

I don't get people like yourself want content and get it and then complain.

Be thankful the developers actually fix and develop the game unlike game like Modern Warfare 2 where they focus on bleeding players dry with rip off map prices and nearly ignoring all bugs in their game.

Be grateful that there is an official stargate SG1 pc game out and stop complaining because I see very few people complaining about the new patch.

The devs are dedicated to this game.

Interesting, I see, I wasn't having that prob but I wasnt rapidly ducking in and out like that. That vid was a better explanation than you guys saying delay, atleast IMHO.

Indeed, i found it incredibly hard to heal-bot MadDoc yesterday, as the healing beam kept breaking, the only reliable way to heal him seemed to be if he was completely stationary.

I'm guessing its just me given the feedback I've been getting, but, the Ash'rak seems slightly slower to me like 5-10%.

Thanks for the clarification on the bullets. I was in today and did note that my bullets were hitting the target. It's just really trippy on my eyes to try to adjust to my bullets flying (or their trails.. whatever) flying elsewhere.

I've tested the Jaffa shooting turrets from a corner. Once the x disappears you can fire a shot and go back to hiding. If you are holding the fire button down the weapon is not going to fire when the x goes away, you need wait for it to be gone then click. Granted the x is there for a fraction of a second after you leave cover and we are exploring some options for fixing this.

New patch is a joke.
In game is many bug, but firesky add music in login menu(this melody is joke too) and give us a time witch need to weapon reloaded.
Few bugs are with us when game start, 10 february, but firesky dont deleted it. Why?? They can't?? Probaly I thing.
I thing SGR is not game but mod, halfgame.

I like play, but I thing Firesky know, in SGR play only SG1 fans and they sell halfgame.

New patch is Firesky idea for deleted problem huge ping and lags for Europe
My ping 250, I cant play in SGR now as commando and solder and Jaffa
"Good work" Firesky

On witch port working SGR
I know about 7778 to 7800 , but now I know about new port. What is it port?? Mayby somebody know??

please cry more. Your tears make me happy .

Instead of just saying bugs since 10th Feb, please list the bugs. I'm sure it is also harder then just "delete it".

Also I had a ping of 230 when SGR came out in Feb it is now 185-190ms, so they must be doing something right.

Translation (Tee-hee):

This new patch is a joke.
In-game, there are numerous bugs, but Firesky LLC has added music to the login menu (this melody is also humorous). They have also given us a timer for weapon reloads.

There were very few bugs during the game's launch on February 10. However, Firesky LLC has not removed them. Why are they unable to do this? My opinion states that they indeed can.

I think that Stargate Resistance is not a game, but I will wildly state that it is a modification of a game. I will not tell you what game it is a modification of, because I am afraid of not being correct. Now I wish for you to know that I think it is only partially a game. I understand that my sudden change of opinion may confuse you, but I have no comprehension of effectively stating what I really mean.

I do indeed enjoy playing this game. But I believe that Firesky LLC knows that only fans of the television series Stargate: SG-1 will ever play this game. I would also like to restate that I think this is only a partial game.

I believe this new patch is Firesky LLC's idea for a removed problem (I refuse to state what problem I am referring to). European players experience lag due to high ping statistics. My ping is two-hundred and fifty (250). I am unable to play as the Commando, Solder, and Jaffa classes in Stargate Resistence.
I would like to applaud Firesky LLC on the fantastic work they have, and will continue to do for this game. I understand that it is a work in progress, and that the developers will do the best they can for this awesome game.

I would now like to ask what port Stargate Resistence is on.
I know about ports 7778 through 7800. But now I have found out about a new port. What port is this? Maybe one of the good people on these forums has a clue to what I am talking about.

With regards,
Antzuch
