Default For those who DON'T know

IF you just really really REALLY want to get rid of the openening logos. Open My Computer or Computer or whatever.

ok - windows xp / 32 bit vista - browse to
[wherever you put the game]\firesky\stargate resistance\sbggame\config

[wherever you put the game] usually = to c:\program files - if you put it elsewhere you probably already know this.

on vista64 (no idea on 7)
if you defaulted the install it will be in c:\program files (x64)\etc etc etc etc

open defaultgame.ini with wordpad or notepad

scroll down to the bottom

see this??

[SGBGame.SGRUIScene_LogoScreen]
CanSkipLogos=false
ShowLogos=True

change to this

[SGBGame.SGRUIScene_LogoScreen]
CanSkipLogos=true
ShowLogos=false

start the game without logos - have fun!

haha I was going to post this up earlier.

along with what I did post in another thread:

Oh and if you want more mouse sensitivity than what the game allows (which is just silly low) just edit this file:
(Win7 path) C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Stargate Resistance\SGBGame\Config\SGBInput.ini

Code:
[Engine.PlayerInput]
MouseSensitivity=64.000000
I'm liking 64 on my 28" monitor @ native res

I had the same issue as the op. I fixed it by editing SGBSGROptions.ini.

Code:
[SGBGame.SGBHUD]
SGRO_XRes=1920
SGRO_YRes=1200
Anybody else have some good config file tips?

Yeah man, cool deal. Just trying to help out the ones that aren't so into the backend on things. Just figgurin (i know that's spelled wrong - I'm from the south!!!) if people like us let out some tips and tricks, that it might help and entice others!

I'm with you... anyone else got something? (and a THANKS, definately for the mouse tip!)

people often forget this, but its the best bit in windows 7 and vista (sad, but true)...

If you wanna change something like this, just copy "[SGBGame.SGRUIScene_LogoScreen]", paste it into your start bar, hit enter and in under a split second (if your cool and have full indexing and a good computer) the file containing that pops up.

Same if you want a calculator (for example), Just type "calc" and hit enter, and so on. Its the fast navigation you have ever seen!

Also, Thanks!!!!!!!!

[SGBGame.SGBPlayerController]
bToggleCommandoZoom=False

Change false to true and you have toggle zoom, let's see how that works..

maybe you're trying to do it while the game is running, or perhaps you're not logged in as the administrator?

on Vista and 7 you have to run notepad as admin or change the file's access rights (I don't remember it's english name, but it is somewhere in properties of the file...)

you should try something like:

.Bindings=(Name="F4",Command="say Greetings")
