Aim Bots

Over the past 3 weeks I have noticed a definite increase in some peoples skills.

I have seen snipers doing impossibe heads shots. Jaffa and sniper both jumping around and the sniper one shots the Jaffa. Then the same sniper will take out 3 more enemy all with one shot, before he even reloads.

Some people have admited using aim bots in game.

I think what's the point of that, where's the skill in that???

You didn't shoot anyone the bot did all the work. Then they have the cheek to laugh at us ondinary mortals that are just tring to play the actual game and not hack it.

Any of you bot users, cannot it all honesty claim that your KD ratios are real. Your kills are false and your skills are so bad you have to resort to using a bot to help you get a head shot. Not only are they boosting their own KD ratios, with the use if these bots.

They are also ruining the game for people that are actively trying to have fun playing the game. How many times have to run around a corner lately only to be one shotted by a sniper using a bot. If it's an impossible shot then it's a aim bot.

And I know all you bots user will come one here and say you just get lucky sometimes. Lucky 4 times in a row, gimme a break and save me your bull for some one that believes you.

You are using bots cos you suck without it!!!!

Btw if I annoy anyone with this post, good! Cos you bots users have been annoying me in game and it's about time I said something about it.

Please PM me if you wish to report people aimbotting and as such. Hacking / cheating reports are taken quite seriously. Proof such as a video of this would be a good help.

As you are talking about high KDRs i would assume you are directing this at Black and myself. For the record look at my accuracy as commando its 21% if i had an aimbot then would it not be higher? Also compare my KDR as all classes, they are all (other then soldier) around 5.1 how could my Goa'uld and Sci kdr be equal to the rest of my classes? In-game would not an aimbot also auto target Goa'uld who are shielded?
Now if this was not directed at Black and i then disregard this, personally i have not noticed anyone chain getting headshots, and i play allot of SL. Keep in mind the last patch GREATLY (ridiculously so) increased the accuracy of the sniper rifle while not zoomed in, i have been no scoped allot more since it.

sometimes I have notice that while I'm sniping I will get a shot that I wasn't sure if I would get. But I don't know anything about bots. If you have to purposely initiate it. I never have. But I have had some lucky shots

I've had a few bragging about the no scope thing and I've wondered at some of the other things I've seen but with no out right proof I won't say names.

The main cheat I find is the spawning with no weapon and that is only in white out, which makes me wish we had friendly fire. I'd shoot the cheater myself if they were on my team.

I really hope there isnt aimbots :/

I'm not talking about the people that do have skills and I'm not talking about the odd lucky shot. I'm talking about people that in the past 2-3 weeks have suddenly become super snipers. Lately I have been playing Goauld and the amount of Jaffa going down from single shots has made me very suspicious.

Add to that one day, someone actually said in chat, after he had pulled off a few head shots, that he loved his new aim bot. Might have been BS.

Perhaps you are right Rivalen, it might something to do with the latest patch and the changes to the unzoomed rifle.

As BC has stated take down names, get screen shots and contact me, him or a dev by PM and we will look into it.

Alright, thought you were referencing Black and i, as we get the occasional slander about aimbots or Ash'rak detection hacks (people not realizing that a Banana Squad member is playing commando spotting Ash'raks and conveying their position to teammates via TS3) so got a bit jumpy at this.
Since the last patch allot more people have been playing commando given how they have been buffed, so i'm sure thats part of it, however if there are people getting four headshots in a row then i would be very suspicious, personally i rarely get head shotted as any of the SL classes (although i did get headshotted 3 times in a row as Goa'uld on whiteout not that long ago), if you do see it allot be sure to record it with say Xfire or Fraps and then send the video to a Moderator or Dev.

That may explane why even though i was behind pillars i was still getting 1 shot killed by snipers nearly all night,

apart from when i change map and fought black, that's just pure skill

easy answer, just watch the guy playing after he kills you.

Hmm if this is true this is pretty bad for the game, so Dark Comet Games should act upon it very quickly to find out if it is true and if it is what can they do.

i have also noticed some pretty unlikely headshots lately. not from any of the top players, but i did recognize the names. a couple of the more suspect shots happened while i was airborne. i was running up to the center of amarna, fresh from the grave, full health, i step on a claymore and i get thrown way up into the air, still having at least 75% health, and then a headshot death before i hit the ground. i saw the person repeating that same play over and over in one match. the sniper was standing on the sgc porch.
and then there was this one clan affiliated soldier that kept waiting for me on the stairs outside the spawn. i'd come at him from different points, but i'd be dead a split second after entering the room from any angle, from p90 fire. full health, and it was seriously a quarter to a half a second of fire.
and i did see one person boasting about his new aimbot in chat, but it seemed like the other players didn't believe him.

I wont name names, or make videos or hang anyone to the Dev, but I did want to point out what is going on.

eg someone with 1799 kills has 1796 headshots and they dont play sniper.

*sticks his head in, reads the thread, looks concerned*

That is nuts! Why cheat? This game is not that hard to play and play well.

Please, if you catch these people, take SS or video. Send it to the Devs. They can't fix it if they don't know who's doing it, how they are doing it and find a way to repeat it. Sure, you can say X person was repeatedly sniping me in white out, but that doesn't tell them much about how it was actually being done. Reporting these people is the way to get this fixed.

Ive also noticed this, i was playing last night (Am GMT) and some of the shots were impossible, i was headshotted, whilst using evasive multiple times and just as i ran round a corner .. bang headshot. i cant remember names but if it happens again il boot up fraps!

Ive just googled to see if there are any on the market and i found one on <removed ~ bc>, il pm it to mods

if this is a sample of whats going on then its likley there are multiple hacks about the place

I thought I was losing my touch, I have to admit I did see some Jaffa yesterday with a particularly good aim EVERYTIME not to mention the fact that I'd never seen them before (although that doesn't prove anything).

I also saw an 'Airman' on my team who played sniper and got 14 kills in the match while the rest of us got 2 at most, then again, they just might be that good. But I must admit something is a bit fishy of late since the last patch.

I will keep an eye out though, and fraps at the ready!

Think it is time for me to get back to frapsing every match I am in now and a new ingame name ¬.¬.

Why the new in game name?

Most games I am in are normal game, people just playing the game. Just every so often, something bizarre happens, like being wiped from full health by P90 fire in a split second or being sniped while in the air or running around a corner and meeting a sniper running the other way and they fire a snap shot and I'm wiped.

Most of the incidences I have noticed havent even happened to me. ie I'm running along behind two other Jaffa, one gets sniped, the other sniped while jumping in the air, I'm next if I'm dumb enough to remain in the game. Not me I head for cover and hit quit.

I would have to start recording every minute of every game an impossibly hard thing to prove, but the stats will speak for themselves. They will end up with 99% headshot to kill ratios with very low shots fired.

These guys might as well not bother playing, if that is what they are doing. No skill and no pleasure for them when they do get a kill.

When I manage to pull off a headshot with my sniper rifle. I'm like Woot! Because I actually shot the guy myself. Although I have to say sorry to those that were standing still typing at the time.

no one shall expect it .

It was particularly, bad on leonops court, special with the sniper being directly across from the SL spawn point the >>> one, even with me being behind the pillair and seeing some shots comming i was still being hit, 1/3 hp,

and i cannot see how some shots where being made, i was far side of the wall <<< side and he still sniped me, the bullet would have to go in a L shape or hes the best sniper in the world.
