One guys has a kill to headshot ratio of 99% and is main char is soldier. Another guy has a 88% ratio. Highly suspect numbers.

I have personally looked at our stats database and the player in question rarely plays commando. The stat that sgrstats.com is showing you is a compilation of all the headshots that player has earned as all classes in the game. This means that headshots from the p90 will count towards that stat. thus comparing that number to their total number of kills is an inaccurate way to determine headshot accuracy with the sniper rifle.

Well, the question is how to find them. Do the servers keep a log of everything going on on each server, with name, x,y,z and Time position? And do devs or whoever check them? Because otherwise, it can be hard to find and prove what happen. Or just some players can troll be telling randomly that this and this guys cheated just because he died 10 times in a row be the same player, which is not cheating, just a difference of skill.
Or pay new guys to be the "Game Masters" and spectating the games and take actions directly? But sounds pretty improbable.

I think they don´t need "pay" players for be GM... i think must a honor that the devs think in some people for help with the game....

I think maybe we can say the names on PM to the devs or the same dev.. and if one name are by example 8 o 9 times repeated.. ban for 5-18 hours

We were told not to publicly say the name, to PM it to a Mod or Dev instead Khestral.

Proving that someone is using an aimbot, is hard to do. I would have to record every minute of my game play. If I did that I would now have 300hours of video on my machine.

Frankly guys life is too short. SGR is a game I like playing, but its not the be all and end all and my life, as dull as my life might be at the moment, my life doesn't rotate around SGR.

In every online game I have played, there are alway people that hack and add advantage with addons. In a PvE game it doesnt really effect other players, but in PvP games like SGR it does effect other players. It is a sad thing, but some people will always try to pull a fast one. But alas it's not up to me to police the game.

My initial post in this thread said what I wanted to say on the subject and I will leave it at that. I have alerted the community and there I think is the extent of my duty.

Well maby have a GM Randomly in acended mode check in on game's being played ~ monitor with the code up whos doing what -where, when, and how,

in the way that they can do -being acended and all

I noticed it too. But there are not only snipers with impossible headshots, also soldiers that never seem to miss.

Well with Staff blasts you can see them comming, also with Soldier, -in effect spraying the bullets. + cant see relly see them (trail) so hit more often

i did notice i was hitting -Jaffa/system lords a lot more, but with two Lords with thier Beam i was down within seconds -cant do anything with two on you,

(dont even know if i was able to hit them with bullets while that yellow screen on me)
(though i did pop one Jaffa greanded befour it whent off -((plus i think i may have found a way to block the flash bang -needs more testing))

Still to try Jaffa- the last patch improved my game 2x at lest, -better graphics, and FPS -and im on the lowest settings.

That's AHNLAB Anti Hack Pro working at it's finest! But seriously, anyone who uses Aimbot must be a pretty bad player.

Have you reported your suspisions to a moderator or Dev? If not PM the name to bctrainers, his post is second on the thread. Not all head shots are kill shots (the P90 headshot only does 15-17 damage) so this could be valid but if you suspect them report them so they can be exonerated or punished.

I would say you had no duty to report this to the community, the responsibility is to report it to a Developer or a Moderator for the benefit of the community. It was nice of you to warn the rest of us but what was the point of going on the PA system if you refuse to provide a witness statement to the police (to continue your analogy)?

Emm al headshots are killshot... because if this was as u say.. i must have now.. 11000 headshots, and other players too

Scott you can moan about me all you want, but as I said in my initial post it was a suspicion, I dont have ingame video proof or a signed affidavit or security footage, all I have is an eye witness account of some very suspect incidents. So without proof I cant go to the Devs, can I???

But I can start this thread and see if other peole have similiar suspicions and since I know that some people just love making videos of their game play, all I can hope is that someone else has videod something.

From what I have read, I am not that only one that had some very strange stuff happen.

But I will agree with you, I dont have a duty to the community, moderators, or the Devs, so next time, I will keep my mouth shut and just hit quit.

Nah, we would appreciate feedback on suspicions, via PM, mods, devs and the whipped QA team via PM. Talk about your issues openly, but if you want to name a name, stick to PM please.

I merely refuted your claim that you did all you needed to do. The most constructive thing you can do is tell someone with the authority to investigate your suspicion that you have suspicions about that player. They will either be vindicated or caught, either way the situation is definitively resolved.

You are coming across as very combative and defensive here mate. I for one hope you will continue trying to improve the game.

Back on the topic: You do what you feel is right when confronted with a player you think is hacking/exploiting/cheating/ect. No one can force you to report the person. Even this kind of posts makes people watch those around them a bit more carefully. We don't need names, that would just stir the pot.

I'm not sure if you are still disagreeing with me or not. Try it in game. I've had plenty of headshots that were not kills.
